Occupy Wall Street Campaign Is Being Blacked Out By The Media

Recommended Posts

If you try and find out about it --- NOTHING.

This link is NOT [as far as I can see] available from the front pages of the Daily Mail website.... In fact - it is well-nigh impossible to find this link.....

Weird?? - or what??

Correct me if I'm wrong..... But has Wall Street BOUGHT OFF the media? Has Wall Street BOUGHT the police to help them fend off the demonstrators??

It might be an idea to read up on what's happened to the media in the US. Independent media outlets are not few and far between. And why would Murdoch's media want to cover this?

As to the UK media, when do they cover anything beyond the UK's coasts that isn't a disaster or celeb-related? How much coverage have the various Indignant movements in Europe had here?

Is it Libya that's taking over their government or have taken over, or is it somewhere in Egypt that is also overtaking their government, or is it the Tunisian revolution and is it President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali or someone else who is in charge in Tunisia , wherever Tunisa is.

Oh yes the wall street revolution, the people sitting in a street in New York and elsewhere, I must remember something about;

What it is they want?

In 1983 in the United States, over 50 seperate companies controlled almost all of America's newspapers, magazines, TV and radio stations, books, records, movies, videos, wire services and photo agencies.

By 2004, just 5 huge corporations -- Time Warner, Disney, Murdoch's News Corporation, Bertelsmann of Germany, and Viacom (formerly CBS) control over 95% of all Media.

We have witnessed creeping Neo Corporatism, aka Fascism, approaching throughout our lifetimes.

"Fascism" in the 21st century has very strong connotations of mass murder and death camps, making it a highly loaded term. However, in the 1930s for some it meant the planned economy and corporativism exemplified by the economic plans of Benito Mussolini in Italy. Some communists as well as pro-capitalist journalists, essayists, and politicians, including Herbert Hoover, used the term "fascism" that way. At the time of the New Deal, criticism came from both the left and right. Some "socialists and communists suggested the New Deal's industrial recovery program was really the basis for establishing a fascist state" that failed to protect against the "evils of capitalism."[9]

Herman Cain: 'Don't blame Wall Street, don't blame the big banks, if you don't have a job and you're not rich, blame yourself. It is not someone's fault if they succeeded'

To see how offensive Cain's sentiment is try a little editting:

'Don't blame Wall Street the whites, don't blame the big banks slave owners, if you don't have a job and you're not rich, blame yourself. It is not someone's fault if they succeeded'

------

My brother phoned early this morning with sad news about his best friend, Mark.

Several years ago his wife developed a brain tumour. It's taken numerous operations and endless hospital visits but thankfully she seems to be recovering. The resulting stress however caused Mark to suffer a nervous breakdown. While Mark's wife was ill her mother passed away, leaving Mark to take ever more responsibility at home. Mark had been a star employee at his company enjoying quick career progression, but inevitably matters took their toll on him and this is why he needed several months himself to recover.

On returning to work this week his boss and several colleagues mocked his absence. Last night he was admitted to hospital having suffered a heart attack. Mark is 39. So its Mark's fault he's not rich is it Mr Cain?

It's not that people succeed the rest of us have a problem with, it's how they succeed, and the bankers have succeeded by using criminal means.

Very interesting post. I've given up on the UK media - rely instead on RT news, Al Jazeera, Press TV and even Euronews to reveal what's going on - and of course the Keiser report (on RT news) and on the edge with Max Keiser (PressTV). What dominates our news? drivel from Theresa May about some potential deportee being saved by a cat - a truly pitiful standard of leadership.

I wish them every good wish and luck!!

IMO It's pretty ******ing brave to stand against the vicious tentacle's of elite establishment in the the land of the "Free"

It's years back that I argued with American friends about the Patriot Act.

I was shouted down, many had bought the propaganda erm sorry the PR...

I quoted this:

"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY."

It was ridiculed.

I found American friends almost always to be decent people but they would never take "comment" or descent about from the MSM propaganda machine. Only one told me something I was not already aware of.

I kind of gave up/lost touch with them over time having lost some hope.

The occupywallstreet protests have made me have some hope ordinary Americans are finally bloody coming to realise they have been (for years) ******ed over and that it's continuing apace.

Good Luck to them!!

Especially Good Luck to this AMAZING YOUNG MAN!!!! Please Watch!!!

I posted a comment on the BBC website earlier today pointing out that decent British people will be forced to protest against the QE2 by the BOE just like people in the US at protesting on Wall Street - it got deleted.

Its not like you were inciting, is it? It would appear TPTB are rattled.

Never under estimate the lengths fraudsters will go to to prevent the fraud being widely understood.

But then never under estimate the lengths I will go to to expose these guys:
