So Will The Chinese Now Protest To The Americans About Human Rights?

Recommended Posts

If there were only 1000 protesters, then it doesnt seem like that much big news out of a country of 300 million.

They shut down Brooklyn Bridge, one of the most iconic American landmarks you can get, in probably the most famous city in the world.

It makes the national news here if 6 smelly students protest outside a power plant you have never heard of.

Vanity Fair has reported that the top 1 percent of the nation controlled 12 percent of US wealth only 25 years ago, while today it controls close to 25 percent.

The monopoly of the Media in the United States is definitely cause for serious concern.

But few realise what has happened.

In 1983 in the United States, over 50 seperate companies controlled almost all of America's newspapers, magazines, TV and radio stations, books, records, movies, videos, wire services and photo agencies.

By 2004, just 5 huge corporations -- Time Warner, Disney, Murdoch's News Corporation, Bertelsmann of Germany, and Viacom (formerly CBS) control over 95% of all Media.

We have witnessed creeping Neo Corporatism, aka Fascism, approaching throughout our lifetimes.

"Fascism" in the 21st century has very strong connotations of mass murder and death camps, making it a highly loaded term. However, in the 1930s for some it meant the planned economy and corporativism exemplified by the economic plans of Benito Mussolini in Italy. Some communists as well as pro-capitalist journalists, essayists, and politicians, including Herbert Hoover, used the term "fascism" that way. At the time of the New Deal, criticism came from both the left and right. Some "socialists and communists suggested the New Deal's industrial recovery program was really the basis for establishing a fascist state" that failed to protect against the "evils of capitalism."[9]

Fascism is where the Western world has now arrived.
