What Is Your Preferred Choice?

Recommended Posts

What is your preferred choice when it comes to investing in gold and silver bullion.

Do you buy regular bars/coins or do you buy britannias and sovereigns to avoid capital gains tax?

I am currently buying bars but now I am contemplating purchasing some britannias.

Where are you buying your bars? Are you storing them yourself?

In numerical terms, most of my stash is in gold sovereigns. I have 1 Britannia that I bought because, well, I didn't have one.

I'm not too worried about CGT as I've been told on here that gold is in a bubble and furthermore, won't protect me from inflation.
