I'm glad there are people who actually watch, or even own, a TV to tell me what the public thinks. Or is it what the public is told to think? Jesus, maybe I should just watch for myself and make up my own opinion. Or would that really be my own opinion...

I believe it is a succession of daguerreotypes reproduced upon a screen with an illuminated cathode, with the image changing many times per second to fool the eye into the illusion of movement:

Isn't that the same as saying the UK wants higher house prices. Most people in the UK probably do but many don't.
