TylerDurden
Am I correct to think that when I sell my gold I will only get the Non trade scrap value. This seems to be no where near what I can buy gold for. Any better ways of selling?
Quiet Guy
Am I correct to think that when I sell my gold I will only get the Non trade scrap value. This seems to be no where near what I can buy gold for. Any better ways of selling? A bit more information required. Exactly what kind of gold are you thinking of selling? Coins, bars, jewellry? As a starting point, Hatton Garden Metals are probably one of the most competitive buyers available to the public. If you sell to a 'cash for gold' buyer in a shopping centre or in a typical town centre shop then expect to be fleeced.
TylerDurden
sorry. They would be stamped coins and 1 ounce bars.
BlinkTooFast
sorry. They would be stamped coins and 1 ounce bars. Several bullion dealers will give you 98-99% of spot. paulthepunk
Why would you be looking for scrap value on recognised bullion?! Slam it on the bay and get over the odds for it! Otherwise Hatton Garden all the way. Tyler Durden- Zero Hedge?!?!! Regards, Paul.
