Brighton Anecdotal

Recommended Posts

Colleague of mine is sadly getting a divorce. Nightmare for him, he's a really nice bloke and there's a kid involved so it's not like there is any element of shadenfraud in reporting this - but I think we all know that its motivated sales like divorces that will set the market price.

Him and his soon to be ex-wife put their house on the market in July for £365k. They had a few viewings at first concluding with an offer of £330 which he turned down. The viewings have dried up and he has now appointed multiple agents. Finally got another offer in last week for £305k which he turned down. He accepts that he should have taken the £330k but that buyer is no longer looking.

I'm really sorry to hear about the situation they face. I do hope that especially with a child involved that they are reconsidering the divorce. Could help them more in the long run maybe all round?.
