Hows Portugal Fairing

Recommended Posts

I have just spoken to a guy who sell farms in Portugal.

He now advertises them over here to Brits.

He says the Banks have been reposessing farms in large numbers in Portugal for a while now as people have been borrowing too much.

He says the situation has got quite silly. A farm with about 17 acres sells for about £60,000. Selling them now to Brits as the Portugese get reprosessed.

Here you go - but written in Jan 2005.

"Cattle Starve as Rainless Portugal Faces Drought"

Due to most of Portugal turning to "Desert" and being the "poorest nation in Western Europe", those farms are worth closer to £6,000 let alone 10x that amount

In fact, as we know, a huge tract of Portugal was burnt to cinders recently - those farms are definately worth £6,000 now!
