Ecb Emergency Lending Facility Spikes Again

Recommended Posts

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/ecb-emergency-lending-facility-spikes-again

EUR3.386bn was borrowed at a rate of 2.25% yesterday from the ECB's MLF - the highest in over a month. Whether this is related to UBS, we have no idea, but we await the denials form various French banks that they partook of this expensive funding.

I wonder who's borrowing???

2.25%... "expensive" borrowing???

Wish I could borrow at that rate.

If I remember right it's an overnight loan. You'd have to flip your property very quickly to make it work for you.

Can't see it being UBS. Unless they were preparing for a run, but that's not the way it works with their 'investment' team.
