Fully Detached
http://www.bloomberg...nd-of-term.html Between this and the ex Italian CB chairman to be at the helm of the ECB the euro might as well be toilet paper. This is the last straw for me, I'm getting out of euros. Someone here posted a few weeks ago that EUR/JPY sub 110 was an indicator that it was hitting the fan, and allowing a bit of leeway for Yen strength, it has been pretty successful of the past few weeks. Currently sitting at 105.95,down 1.5% on the day. I know JPY is strong but none of the other major currencies are taking a battering like that against it. I think it was Lucky One, he's been away for a while. As far as the Euro goes, I'll start getting excited when we reach dollar parity (which IMO roughly reflects the PPP). Fully Detached
I think it was Lucky One, he's been away for a while. Yep, I think it was - thanks. As far as the Euro goes, I'll start getting excited when we reach dollar parity (which IMO roughly reflects the PPP). Today has been a good day for you too then... Does anyone know where I can get near live Euro bond yields? I'm guessing one or two of those may be heading for the skies about now. My instinct would be to short Yen though but I am going to have to make some tough choices. Nearly all my savings are in euros!
_w_
You could have given Sir Mervyn a mention Oh he is prominent in my mind. For all the wrong reasons. Apart from NS&I and 'working capital' I don't own pounds.

_w_
So, not gold then - but fiat. 5% in gold. Been looking for a decent fiat for a long time but I can't find any which is why I was still in euros despite everything.
