Richm's Intriguing And Peculiar Anecdotals Thread

Right, I'll start then.

My mate, who we'll call Nebuchadnezzar (not his real name) works in a fancy, lardy-dah tailors around Bond Street/Regent Street way.

Apparently business is terrible, and they are opening up late to try and drum up some custom. Nebuchadnezzar reckons this is a total waste of time though, they tried it last year and it didn't work.

Plus, my wife noticed a sale at Debenhams, which she thinks is most odd.

Sale at Debenhams, odd?

They have a "blue cross" sale all the time. I know 'cause I have to put up with the lunchtime purchases of my colleagues of the fairer sex.

To be fair they are shopping in Primark more nowadays.

I saw something about 'rolling sales' in the paper today. I thought this was going to be a string about strange goings and bizarre gazunderings of properties in the country... can we have a HPC topical ghost story somebody (I would but I am rubbish at them)
