Iceland's Former Pm On Trial Over Bank Crash

Iceland's former PM On Trial

Anyone following this?

Anyone with insight want to venture a likely outcome?

The early reports suggest the whole case is fraught with technical objections and legal obfuscation.

I noted from some reports that cases against individual Icelandic banksters have largely been dismissed or at least derailed, simply because of the complexity and paperwork. It also seems that Icelanders are very unhappy that the PM is the only one in the dock, while Finance Ministers and other accessories have been excused quizzing.

The Irish Press appears to be the most interested and informed on this story, for obvious reasons.
