Si1
I mean, who the feck wants to buy a house - they seem darn difficult to sell. that's what my dear mother said in the year 2000 to me and then in the year 2005 she said to all and sundry 'goddamit you all have to buy or you will miss the boat and die a terrible death and I'll have no grandchildren - oh the humanity' (or some such bullish prose)
Venger
Here's a statistic taken from that article which isn't going to get much coverage but should. According to Halifax, £2,000 was wiped of the average UK property last month. Meanwhile, Nationwide reckon that £2,800 was wiped off the average UK property last month! The Mirror breaks down Halifax's figures with a headline of House prices plunge by £65 a day in August Nicholas Ayre, a director of buying agents Home Fusion, said: “August was a catastrophic month for the global and UK economy. “It may well have turned a flat UK property market into one that is falling.” http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/city-news/2011/09/08/house-prices-plunge-by-65-a-day-in-august-115875-23403919/
Mr. Miyagi
There is one up the road from me that has been on for so long that the colours had faded on the sign. I mentioned it to the EA and they swapped it out. Wish I had not told them. Round my way they tend to swap EAs at least once a year so does that count as still on after several years and multiple EAs? I mean, who the feck wants to buy a house - they seem darn difficult to sell. There are loads of faded boards round my area. They always give me a smile
