Ad Hoc Property Guardians

Noted a closed down pub was up for rent for a very low price by 'Ad Hoc Property Guardians'

Seems they offer mostly commercial property to let as domestic, for very very low rents, rather than let the sit empty and get vandalised etc.

Not sure on the legalities of commercial property being let as domestic - but it smashes a new floor in rents in this particular area. I certainly welcome this concept.

Not sure on the legalities of commercial property being let as domestic - but it smashes a new floor in rents in this particular area. I certainly welcome this concept.

They're not tenancies - licences only, so occupants can get kicked out at the drop of a hat and have no privacy because the licensor can enter the property at will. So I guess this wouldn't have any impact on rents, even if a significant number of properties were involved.
