Prices Being Slashed In Pembrokeshire

Recommended Posts

After my recent chat with a Pembs EA, just been scanning the property supplement from a local paper. It appears that prices are being slashed in some areas for the first time - price reduced, new price, etc. There is no way that the prices down there can be maintained. I expect to see 40% drops over the next 2 years.

Everyone was saying that a New LNG terminal in Milford Haven would boost the local economy and jobs, and hold prices, but the contractors have been bringing in minimum wage migrant labour to carry out much of the LNG engineering work (steel fixers from Portugal paid £5.35 an hour, for example), and they're only here for for short periods and many are in caravans and similar.
