It's Sept And It's Time For The Pre-Xmas Sales To Start - Up To 80% Off

Recommended Posts

Just had an email from CD Wow announcing the start of their pre-xmas sale with up to 80% off.

We are no where near xmas yet and we've got one retailer announcing a pre-xmas sale!

Is the panic starting early this year? I'll be interested to see if more of the traditional high street retailers follow.

A HPC tradition of recent years is the "disastrous Christmas retail sales" prediction thread. Invariably, come January/February, sales turn out to have been OK after all.

Maybe this year is when it finally happens?

Sounds like they need to shift some stock to generate the space and / or more likely cash for the Christmas stock.

There seems to be quite a numebr of sales on at the moment, a very unusual time of year.

Isn't the rent due at the end of the month?

After being quiet for a couple of months (since Jun when rent was last due) Debenhams are spamming my inbox again. Go figure...
