O’riordan Bond - What's Happening?

Recommended Posts

The Midland Estate Agent O’Riordan Bond has apparantly shut down it's three branches in Luton. It's also, apparantly, sold on it's right to sell houses on to other Estate Agents.

Is this a general shutdown for this medium sized chain or are they just bugging out of Luton?

Nothing obvious on their website or in the news.

wow - is this true???

they are perhaps the biggest estate agency offices in northampton

- they have just opened another two, maybe three branches in northampton

they have three branches in the abington area alone AFAIK!

however there was a little line in their bit in the local rag a few

weeks ago where they mentioned they had laid off 12 people.

interesting stuff, nonetheless...

They have not closed down, just bugged out of Luton as they saw that they had a bad sellers profile.

I'm Really Bored were responsible for the initial higher pricing in Abington - then the rest of the herd followed suit!

I think it was also these cretins who started to 'widen' the Abington area! Since when has St Edmunds End - Cyril Street/Ethel Street/Edith Street or Kettering Road area St. Michaels Mount/Perry Street etc been in Abington? Ever since Estate agents realised that 'Abington' was a good 'brand' name and they could con Joe Public into believing it. Tell a big enough lie for long enough and people believe it!

I truly hope they disappear down the drain ASAP!

Mind you, O'riordan Bond weren't all that bad...I had a short but steamy relationship with a girl who worked there in Northampton - Lucy was her name, and she was a babe. :D
