Crays Hill Evictions

Last-ditch High Court bid to prevent bailiffs entering site from midnight

A severely ill traveller living on an illegal site in Essex is going to the High Court to try to stop a council evicting her and other residents.

Maybe this should be in the main forum as ultimately it could affect a precedent on Planning Law Mods please consider and move if appropriate...

If the powers to be go soft on this and despite the decade long legal process and the High Court Order to evict and allow these people to stay will it set the mother of all precedents about planning law?

After all if the rule of law is not upheld here what is to stop the rest of us doing what we want on our own land and or newly purchased green belt land?

Will inaction affect the value of agricultural and green belt land bereft of any useful planning permission? I think it likely it will.
