Public sector init! No sense of value for money, when similar pinnys can be bought for about £4 and iron on custom transfer pre-prints can be bought for £2

This is a safety issue almost certainly brought about by the significant changes to the NHS in the last thirty- ish years.

I think the"Drug Round Nurses" are only going to interact with the patients they are dosing and can now concentrate on them.

Rather than being late or making mistakes by being distracted by demands from other staff, including doctors/public/patients etc.

They will better dispense the drugs at the correct time rather than be delayed and with less chance of making mistakes in a 24/7 working environment.

Like the obvious was said in the article, if someone keels over the situation will change. Just in time supply meets just in time prioritisation :)

Most people in the UK have stood by watching the NHS slide towards privatisation, under constant attack by all parties and the press.

Time to suck it up :D

Except pharmacies can be automated now which pharma bots as discussed here many times. Why not encode a card to each patient who needs drugs. They go to the dispensary, swipe the card and meds are dispensed by the automated pharmacist ?
