Read a website the other day. Apparently the planes that flew into the towers were remote controlled and had bombs attached to the underside of them... if no one is on the plane then why not put the bomb _in_ the cargo hold?!? Another thing and I dont know if this is true but at the altitude of the last "Lets Roll!" plane it should have been impossible to use a mobile. Anyone know if thats true?

What a load of cr@p!!

So all those people, who lost partners, sons/daughters etc on the planes, were just actors?

I also saw an interesting documentary on the shooting of WPC Yvonne Fletcher outside (I think) the Libyan embassy during a seige around '85 or '86.

Some said the bullet came from another building completely, possibly from a room allegedly rented by the CIA.

It would not suprise me, what is the live of one policewoman, when you look at the bigger picture ?

Because I believe It helped give the Americans an excuse to bomb Libya from British bases, and for Maggie to give them permission to fly from the UK.

Though I'm not suggesting that Maggie was aware of any such plan, or that she would have gone along with such a plan.

But I wouldn't put anything past the Yanks.

I think there is a conspiracy growing about De Menenez and the 7/7 bombs.

The scenario is something along these lines: The 7/7 bombers had been recruited by the secret services to iniltrate and keep an eye on radical groups in the muslim community. Their rapid conversions to the radical cause is well known, but not understood.

They attended training seminars to 'get into the minds' of bombers. Part of this could have been recording mock 'suicide note' videos, which were kept for future use.

They were given rucksacks that they were told were full of harmless ballast. They were told to go and get on certain trains and buses to 'test' security in the capital.

They were exploded. Apparently the last bomber to explode (on the bus) realised that his accomplices had actually died and was seen desperately trying to open his bag in his final moments.

I would assume they would have used a freelance electrical engineer to put together the detonators. This person would, of course, have to be silenced permanently.

There is something about the use of so many bullets in the De Menenez shooting that suggests a 'silencing' rather than a response to imminent danger.

Conspiracy's are an everyday occurance, and those who doubt that, quite frankly live in cloud cukoo land. All you need are two or more people to present "fiction as fact" or commit an illigal act such as perverting the course of justice.

Of course conspirators themselves under a cloak of anominity can attempt to discredit exposed "Headline conspiracys" by producing "whacky" conspiracy theories that appear to support the exposure of the said conspiracy. But are in reality an attempt to debunk "all" conspiracy theorists as deluded nutters .Then of course you do have genuine idiots as well proffering conspiracy theories

"conspiracy

1. An agreement to perform together an illegal, wrongful, or subversive act.

2. A group of conspirators.

3. Law. An agreement between two or more persons to commit a crime or accomplish a legal purpose through illegal action.

4. A joining or acting together, as if by sinister design: a conspiracy of wind and tide that devastated coastal areas."

Proven conspiracy's such as The Birmingham Six and The Gilford Four, both the work of the British State. Death of a Democracy The Chilean coup was arranged and financed by the CIA. The use of Saddam Hussein as part of a CIA-authorized six-man squad tasked with assassinating then Iraqi Prime Minister Gen. Abd al-Karim Qasim. Regime Change Yet Again The aforemantioned are all verifiable proven conspiracy's, indeed the biggest conspirators are nation States.

Now I know a really serious one, but I cannot print it on here because I'm sure I'm being watched. Besides just because I don't trust the police, doesn't mean they are not out to get me :P

What a load of tosh. Why didnt the 4th bomber not dispose of the runcksack in say the Thames and not try and defuse it an hour later on a crowded bus. Why did it take the security services over 15 days to 'silence' the electrical engineer.

"What a load of tosh. Why didnt the 4th bomber not dispose of the runcksack in say the Thames and not try and defuse it an hour later on a crowded bus. Why did it take the security services over 15 days to 'silence' the electrical engineer".

Not that I particularly believe this theory . . . but from the witness accounts I remember hearing at the time, the passengers on the bus had only heard about the other bombs shortly before their bomb detonated.

Word went round the bus that something was up, the bomber started scrabbling through his rucksack, then there was the explosion.

Yes, the delay in 'silencing' De Menenez does seem to be a weak link in the theory - but everything about that shooting suggests that we don't know the whole story. Ian Blair actually tried to silence any investigation of it soon afterwards, and the lies told by police immediately after were beyond astonishing.

These lies, in my opinion, make the official account of what happened no more acceptable than the wildest of theories.

All these theories should be explored, discussed and tested as much as the official lines. I suppose like Andrew Gilligan did. The government tried to write him off as a paranoid conspiracy theorist, and got Hutton to give official backing to this view. As it turns out, this back-fired on them - who believes the Hutton Report now?

And then, of course, there was David Kelly. Who died from wrist wounds without losing much blood.

It's strange how any discussion of matters like this always invites accusations of lunacy. But as Oedipus (was it?) said "those that that the Gods wish to destroy they first send mad." I fear this is the motto of security services across the world.

I don't subscribe to the "9/11 bombs on planes conspiracy theory"

However there is much evidence to support the theory that that at least one section of the US intelligance services did know there was a terrorist plan to hijack planes and use them as flying bombs.

OK once you get over shouting out "What Crap" there are two things you need to consider. Firstly what evidence is there to support such a theory. And even if there was indeed evidence to support said theory, what possible purpose could be served by allowing said attacks to be carried out without attempting to thwart them.

Anecdotal evidence supporting the theory:

Consider why no intercept planes were scrambled once "codes" had been sent that the planes had indeed been hijacked. How come an intelligence service with a bigger budget than alot of countries have GDP, failed to cotton onto a plot that experts reckon would have been 18 months in the making.!!!!!! Yet within hours had found the terrorists car complete with a "How to fly a Boeing" video [in arabic] and a copy of the Koran. Oh and then theres the letter found in luggage belonging to the lead terrorist, that did not get loaded onto the plane [handy or what] In which he had written stirring stuff exaulting his fellow terrorists to do Gods work.

Well there you have it folks, no need to stir the old gey matter stuff, we goddam nailed those pesky red indians good and proper

What possible advantage to the USA could be gained from allowing 9/11 to happen?

Well maybe you should read this quote from a document called the PNAC.... Project for the New American Century. Many of those who inpart contributed to this document were / are leading lights / or have strong links to the present US Administration or the Republican party.

Consider for one moment the ominous statement at the start of the first paragraph page 51, in the pdf document [under subheading V, entitled 'Creating Tomorrow's Dominant Force']

'Further, the process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event - like a new Pearl Harbour'

The pre amble to the aforemention quote was that the USA would need to spend vast amounts of tax payers money to enable the military to fight in "multipule theaters" thought the globe at any one time [The sort of thing Empires need to do when impressing their "will" on vassal or none complient States]

Of course the authors realised the problem would be selling this requirement to the American tax payer. Not only in a suspension of civil liberties, or encouraging the belief there was a moral requirement to wage wars of blatent aggression. Not only that but also supporting the vast cost of such wars to the exclusion of stripping social budgets.

To sell such a package would in its self be nigh impossible

UNLESS OF COURSE AMERICA HAD A MODERN DAY PEARL HARBOUR !!!!!!!!

Right fellow American patriots mount up and follow me to the "reservation" Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition

When you fly in the US, you are told to turn off your cell phone. FAA regulation.

I realise we are all programmed to follow orders, but even a "Stepford Wife" clone would have the forsight to realise such regulations could be ignored in such dire circumstances.

No from what i heard cell phones _do not_ receive a signal at such a height, not that the passengers were just told to switch them off. As I said I dont know if they work at such an altitude I just want someone to deny or confirm whether you can or not.

BTW I dont want this thread to be hijacked (no pun intended) by simply 9/11.

What about moon landings, jfk, marlyn monro, the distribution of porn, etc.

If you bought a lottery ticket, in theory you could win. But it would be stupid and naive to say your a nutter for believing you could win. Same goes for most conspiracy stories out there, whether it be 9/11, JFK, Pentagon Crash, 7/7... they all stink to high heaven and in theory it could be this that and the other.

The worst has to be The Royal Family being Lizards by David Icke !!! Ha, you gotta laugh at that one.

What about Dr.David Kelly?

Many believe he was murdered. I had people who don't normally believe conspiracy stuff tell me that, and they are usually in their fifties or sixties. Don't know what that means...but they are not the usual Princess Di was murdered lot.

The story usually goes along the lines of... he was asked to go to the woods for a meeting and instead ended up dead. Where was all the blood. Or he was mudered somewhere else then his body was placed there. Being a doctor he made a bad job of it. The list about this one is endless...what about how he supposedly told a colleague that he knew he would end up dead in the woods.

The illuminati/ masons/ jews/ catholic church/ holy grail/ lizard-alien-UFOs stuff intrigues me.

How people believe half this stuff is beyond me but I cant help reading it.

Its sort of internet tabloid stuff.

Try googling John Titor.

This story is also very well constructed with proven dates and everthing.

Someone really thought this one through.

Very entertaining. ;)
