Less Property Ramping In Daily Express Now?

Recommended Posts

Desmond's Dilemma.

Does he devote the Express front page to Di, Maddie, the 'joy' of HPI - or his new and expensive Big Brother C5 show?

Or will he find a way to combine all his obsessions in one headline?

Thinking caps on....

They had a house price front page on Monday (interest rates to be allegedly cut to 0.25%). It's usually one a week (the others being Diana, Maddie, pensions and immigrants). I reckon they missed a trick because the news yesterday that none of the MPC voted for a rate rise is indeed good news for mortgage holders rather than the speculation they came out with Monday (which I suspect was to mask the news that Rightmove's asking price index released that day tumbled).

The more I think about it, the more the Express seems written with headlines to attact Boomers of Desmond's age. Like them, he's thankfully close to retirement...
