Just came across this page and couldn't agree more with every word it said!

They don't do anything that you really couldn't do (and better) yourself. Maybe we ought to promote this idea and do away with some of these non-job spiky haired idiots!!

EAs are a market place...you pay to display your wares there, people come and see whats in the stools.

People expecting otherwise are the stupid ones.

I have to say, when we bought a house last year the EAs were the only competant agency involved in the transaction. Without exception every person at the bank, solicitors, surveyors was an incompetent simpleton.

The EA were of course acting for vendors but at least with a financial interest in completion they kept the whole process moving.
