Supply Of Scrap Gold Said To Be Lessening

Recommended Posts

"The excessive scrap that used to come a few years ago has stopped, and people who have sold must be cursing themselves for doing so at lower prices."

Forced to laugh the other day, saw one of these scrap merchants in the shopping centre so went over and asked how much he'd give me a 1oz Krugerrand. After messing about with his calculator for almost two minutes he said £750. La brutalité :)

I wonder when people are going to start handing in their scrap paper and walking away with real money instead?

Or at rip-off prices.

On Sheffield Forum I was told that gold was in a bubble and prices would fall soon.

I think gold was circa $1300 at the time.
