Anonymous Will Apparently 'kill' Facebook On 5Th November

Recommended Posts

It'll be interesting to see if this actually happens.

There is a way to do it that I can think of that would be more permanent than the typical DDOS attack, but it would require a large botnet and a means of gathering a lot of user accounts and passwords. You then drive Facebook with a lot of pseudo logins and inputs, and delete friends, create arbitary new ones and essentially render Facebook useless to its users. This sort of attack would need to be maintained for sometime though, and the more stealthily the better as that would hide when the trouble started and make a roll back harder.

exactly, they'll 'destoy' the site like all the other sites they 'destroyed' that seem to be working perfectly fine right now.

So they take facebook down for a day, not sure what that will achieve. Not like everyone is just going to suddenly up sticks and move to Google+ instead. Most people will just moan about it and then do something else. If its on bonfire night then a lot of people won't even be home or paying attention to facebook as they will be watching fireworks and bonfires.

They are hardly going to bring down the world by attacking facebook are they.

Just as a precaution I've got the IP addresses to housepricecrash.co.uk and a few other sites, if there is anything in the DNSs protest attack rumour on March 31, and they've somehow found a way to do it.

Thus it's a bit premature to start panicking, but it couldn't hurt to grab a few IP addresses of your favorite sites, just in case things get anywhere close to as crazy as the post promises.

If that happens,

GDP might go positive that quarter.

November the 5th 2011 came and left.

Facecock is still up and running.

Don't forget that the fkwits aren't the customers - they are the product.

Total inside job by the CIA , all this public outcry over internet censorship may subside when they take down facebook for a few hours , the addicts may very well beg the government to stop those hackers and do whatever means necessary to do so.
