Just for a bit of fun, can anybody findany references to the broken window fallacy being reported in the mainstream press in relation to the riots, either

- describing the fallacy itself; or

- using the fallacy to describe the economic "benefits" that will come from the riots?

In a riot-related conversation only yesterday, I felt obliged to wheel out the ol' broken window fallacy.

Man, do I know how to get a conversation going? (Answer: no.)
