This is a comment from the Telegraph from a protester in Madrid -

We have passed no return point,my dear friends. There is no solution to our problems, I admit. Southern people are becoming slaves of NEW ORDER COMITEE built by Germans mainly and our non violence movement 15 M Indignados is not anymore strong enough to stop them.

We have been evicted this morning easily from all our camps in Madrid and police has warned us that they will wound us next time, they have received orders to do it.

We have general elections next November but at this rate we won´t have the chance to save our country from the BIG BAN

BIG BAN will be the moment when Italy and Spain announce their default and the Germans will come to take over the countries as a condition to save us from the bankruptcy.

This will happen in September... no way for us to have a democratic place in the Parlament to represent the voice of the vast majority of our citizens... no democratic way to force to leave EU VAMPIRES LAND.

What can we do, dear friends?? This morning I have looked at my children playing with their friends a football match and imitating the Spanish victory they saw yesterday and I say to myself: I am going to fight.... we have today at 20 h a great meeting and we will take over the square again... I have no clue what will be the Police reaction. But I know what will be ours if they are violent...

maybe everything will start earlier than I thought.

Our politicians are missing, most on holidays... they are not suffering for the nation future, for our future...they do not care

We have built a network through Europe... we are organized...

We will change our non violent aim developed till today to an Arab style action when BIG BAN start.

We do not want, we are peaceful movement but the VAMPIRES are not giving any chance waiting till general elections, they know it and so rating agencies will downgrade next week and everything will start

German people, please, we are going to ask for you to say NO to the bailout to Italy and Spain, do not be accomplice to this sec. XXI slavery age, please let us go into default and bankruptcy.... this does mean will leave EURO and we will start again from our means.... that is our salvation and we won´t have to fight, we won´t have to die.

Please dear 79% Good germans... say NO to the bailouts!!!

I beg you.... it will be a massacre

Southern Revolution BIG BAN ... NO FEAR NO TEARS

Looks like Injin is about to be vindicated!

If they shoot people, it makes people angrier and change has to occur to pacify people if only for a while. As with Chinese riots in HK 66 and the revenge in 67. Also 1989 the protestors were killed in large numbers, it scared the CCP into making reforms.

If they don't shoot people then they may well use lamp posts and rope.

Though there is a flaw in Injin's assumption, that TPTB don't use automated weapons against us.

I don't assume they won't.

I assume they will and it won't work.

Yep, one of the few reasons i bother visiting now..........................I never guessed this outcome, buying back issued paper/debt with magical new 0000's, how can anything have any value other than effort which is being crushed by the printer?

This world is so messed up, paper money and printing machines, working for what, the big giant printer in the sky?

the essential difference is the Arab dictators literally consider the country to be their property, like our kings of old, so anyone who wants control, even if it's 99% of the population asking for democracy, are traitors which of course carries the death penalty. In Europe the expected position of the people is that we are already in control and our leaders/rulers are elected representatives. They will not order the use of automatic weapons as it's fully untenable and they know it, as do the backroom players who will simply change who they deal with when it has become clear who has taken power, they will simply rely on the old adage about power corrupting being true for the new leaders and carry on as before. It might look like a revolution and there will be a lot of revolutionary songs sung but it won't be very revolutionary. We already have our much lauded democracy and just look how good it isn't

My darnability index has reached 9, up 50% on 18 months ago, slow progress really. http://www.housepricecrash.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=132550

We must have passed peak consumerism in this country but when i talk to people they still think some or all of our problems can be solved with more shuffling of retail outlets in or out of town or amalgamated into tescos or split into mom and pop stores. Whatever it's all irrelevant and much worse just a way of continuing to syphon more of our borrowed money back to China in exchange for crap no one needs.

Excuse me. I import little plastic tambourines from China, and you should see the joy as the little kiddies' faces light up as they see them. Don't be so cynical.

Just think of the children. Don't you like children?

Plus, of course, in our case I think there's only about 6 squaddies left and they'd run out of bullets before we ran out of students.

Far more likely than 'kicking off' in the 1968 sense of the term, I suspect, is that widespread, low-level civil disobedience will become widespread. Part of the reason why any attempt to save the 'official' Greek economy is sodomised from the outset is that their grey and black economies are as big if not bigger than their official one. They are responding to tax hikes widespread and structural tax evasion, e.g. by operating local barter economies, in some cases even local and unofficial currencies, working for cash in hand, trading excisable goods without them even being officially registered as having been produced, etc. etc. From what I gather, this is happening on such a large scale that even if every single Greek public sector employee was a policeman and/or a tax inspector, you still probably wouldn't be able to stop it. And with every further government-imposed austerity measure, the official economy shrinks a little more and the black one grows a little more. I think that scenario is far more likely in Italy or Spain than guillotines in the Plaza del Neptuno.

Already way ahead of you there.

Again check!

Check again, its the Old Holborn technique, i.e. starve the beast by ducking off the radar. Slaves tool down then the masters starve. If they shoot the slaves the masters starve and or get a revolt.

I don 't mean automatic in the sense of self loading automatic machine guns. I mean automated in the sense of autogun turrets like the South Koreans happen to have in large numbers. Controlled by AI which has no sympathy or vested interest it does as it is programmed unlike soldiers asked to massacre civilians terrorists. Such soldiers can think hey this isn't right and can turn about face. The crushing of the 1989 uprising in Beijing took so long as they ferried troops from the far reaches of the country instead of using the massive military garrison outside beijing.

as do the backroom players who will simply change who they deal with when it has become clear who has taken power, they will simply rely on the old adage about power corrupting being true for the new leaders and carry on as before. Probably unless we have a major movement. Where money is made absolutely worthless so that the backroom players are completely destroyed in the process and are unable to adapt. Unfortunately this just means new backroom players will enter the fray.

What is worrying is that any death that occurs when the state suppresses an insurrection or riot does not contravene Article Two of the ECHR.

In short, if they kill you during a riot, it is not "illegal" under the ECHR.

Didnt the US criticise Saddam for putting down an insurrection or two?

I dont recall the US being criticised for dealing with an insurrection in Fallujah.

Driving down human effort/labour costs, its been going on now for decades, and will continue for further decades, until we no longer get paid in currency, but get a hot meal once a day and shelter, albeit a room in a warehouse sheltering all the workers owned by the corporate giants.............

Won't and can't work, as most corporate giants can't exist without a demand factor. So sure Tescos and every other company could automate 100%..... but who would be left with money to buy things that they produce? Without consumers and tax payers there is nobody left to pay taxes which pay for welfare as well.

If the western powers go bust then China can't sustain demand either.

Unless you mean 1984 style production for an endless war.

Leave a capitalist system alone, and the rules of the system will cause more and more wealth to be concentrated in fewer hands, just as Marx predicted. This will cause the system to collapse through lack of demand.

You need some method if redistribution. Democratically through high taxes is good. Violently through revolution is also a solution.

The ultimate end to capitalism in the form we currently see it implemented, is a few thousand people own the planet and any people they don't need to serve them will be ordered to leave.

Wow, that is so ED-209. Just looked it up on the internet - they have them trained on the border for the next time the North tries to invade. If the North has any sense, it will do what it tried last time and tunnel under the border.

They would probably run into miners going the other way. I bet the whole of Korea is hollow.

The USA can do whatever it likes because there is no-one else strong enough to stop them. No point being logical or moralistic about it.
