Going Sstc Immediately On Rightmove.

Recommended Posts

Like many of you I'm sure, I have a regular Rightmove daily search of properties in a given radius.. I pretty much know every house that's listed and more often than not tell you it's price and why it's massively overpriced for what it is and why it hasn't sold other than that..

It's a hobby.. not one that's going to wow the ladies, but it keeps me amused.

So its odd then to see a house come on, and immediately show up as SSTC.. why would that be ?

Here's an example.. http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-30959248.html?premiumA=true

Nice house... what a price...

I think some EAs have caught on to the ways in which they can, how can I say this, use RM for better marketing purposes.

I have seen numerous properties in my area come on immediately on RM as SSTC and they have not been. Perhaps it is a marketing ploy? Perhaps it is a slip of a finger?

Rubbish - as if EA would ever do something so sneaky...

Youre just too slow Exiges - dont you know the saying "snooze and you lose?"

Properties are simply flying off the shelves - they dont even need sales boards

EA`s do sometimes have a list of people wanting specific properties. They get called immediately a property becomes available and viewings are arranged before they hit rightmove.

It is part of the agents selling tactic. "Put in an offer before it hits the web or papers"

My last house was under offer before it hit Rightmove/Findaproperty etc.

Unless it's that RM or PB bug I've just remembered about.

No, there is something fishy going on.

I looked at loads of properties in N Norfolk a few weeks ago and queried on here why the whole LOT showed up SSTC and hey pesto they are all back today as available .

We are being shafted one way or another !
