shindigger
http://www.guernseymint.com/product/Canadian-Maple-Leaf-Gold-Coin.aspx Dont fancy paying UK VAT to Baird etc. So went looking for VAT free. Does this attract any import duty/tax/grief? Fancy some Maple Leafs me. Sorry i know this is metals based but there isnt a silver forum so thought it'd be ok here for a bit. SaintJay
you might as well go out there and pick it up in person. Depends on how much you're bringing back though - the plane is little more than a transit van with wings.

I used to buy from them, and at the time bought up to 20 ounces at a time....they all used to pop through the letterbox one by one....however I really don`t think the tax man would accept they were bought individually when they were paid for in one transaction....so you takes your chances.. EDIT : It all depends on how many you buy..If you buy tens at a time I`m sure HMRC isnt going to bother...It`s not as if they havent got enough to do and also they are losing staff hands over fist...
