That's One Expensive Car Crash: Hapless Blonde Crashes Her £250,000 Bentley Into A Merc, Porsche, Ferrari And Aston Martin

Recommended Posts

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2019340/Hapless-blonde-crashes-250k-Bentley-FOUR-supercars.html

It was a line-up of the finest supercars in one of the world's wealthiest hotspots.

But what started as a parade of high-priced horsepower turned into an impromptu game of demolition derby - when a hapless blonde scraped her £250,000 Bentley Azure down the side of a £75,000 Mercedes S Class.

What followed in the Monte Carlo's Place du Casino was every insurance company's nightmare.

Her 2.7 tonne beast then crashed into a £140,000 black Ferrari F430, before going head on into an £80,000 Porsche 911 and a £140,000 Aston Martin Rapide.

The driver, and her two passengers, then had the humiliation of watching hundreds of tourists circle the scene as they were unable to open the doors of the British-built convertible.

.....

Scientists at the University of Michihan looked at 6.5million car crashes and found a higher than expected number of accidents between two female drivers.

They also discovered that women have a tough time negotiating crossroads, T-junctions and slip roads.

Sensible comments only please, not that anyone could make any jokes out of this as it features a blonde woman driving a car....

Although I'm a little disappointed as there's no mention of the value of her house.

Wonder if it's an auto and she hit the accelerator instead of the brake. You can travel thirty feet before you can transfer your foot back on the brake, and this error is responsible for some pretty nasty accidents as it happens in enclosed spaces and often in places where people are about.

EDIT the damage to the White Merc looks like she may have done exactly that, there's no way any sober person would misjudge the distance that much(look at the blue paint on the Merc), or if they did, continue driving for another half car length.

I had an Eastern European colleague fly into Dublin once. She had only driven automatics previously and Hertz gave her a manual. She hit 4 other cars without getting out of the carpark. She then handed the keys back before taking the next flight home. The compensation claim was very entertaining......,,

true, but it does happen unfortunately.

An old biddy went to the pub opposite me in her V12 Daimler.Hit the loud pedal coming out of the car park and shot into my neighbours garden, clean through the brick wall.she was sober but 82 years old.The vicar was drinking in the pub at the time and said she had lost it because it was a slushbox. One reason I prefer to stir my own pudden'.
