Student Blew £19,000 On Mother's Credit Card, Stole £12,000 From Grandmother And Even Tried To Re-Mortgage Family Home

A student used her mother’s identity to embark on a lavish spending spree totalling £38,000, a court heard.

Lucy Harris took her mother's cash cards and ran up a £19,000 bill on flights to New York, Italy and Tenerife, as well as splashing out at Marks and Spencer, Center Parcs and on hotels.

Harris, formerly of Pocklington, also spent £3,000 on phone bills, £3,000 on clothes and bought sofas, skincare products and tickets to see comedians.

......

She even attempted to re-mortgage the family home to claim £360,000.

Surely we need more of these selfless people who will do all they can save the economy?

The govt gets to spend cash on our behalf shouldn't individuals be helping out as well?

Good to see the Wail getting the mortgage in, must be a expensive house.

Maybe this student is smarter than they first seem. The boomers spent the students future so they gone all eye for eye on them and spent their future as well.

Maybe this could be the start of the youth revolution then when every single person is up their eyeballs in dept the country can default and start again.

no doubt when shes out (being a single mother) she'll be stealing from the tax payer, as her actions and criminal record wont get her that £50k job she's entilted too.
