Homes Under The Hammer

Recommended Posts

Just watching HUTH. Some woman buys a property at auction. When interviewed by Roberts after, she claims she only went to the auction to see what it sold for, and had no intention to buy. This is certainly not the first time i have heard of this happening on this programme. Surely, if you go to auction to buy, you would have to prove you have the means to pay the deposit, etc. God, that programme winds me up with its lies and half truths.

Nope.

They don't check that you actually have the funds until you win.

And if you don't, they offer the property to the under-bidder. I've seen that happen once.
