Why So Cheap?

I saw this house for sale a few months back but it was sold when I inquired and I didn't realise it was so huge at the time. It looks like somebody bought it and started to do some renovation work but has now stopped. In my opinion there can only be one logical explanation... It's haunted.

West Point. more like West Bank. just look at all the security they have had to put on an empty house. It's practically Gotham City, our kid.

Look at the sold prices of similar properties in the area. They are usually £190k+ around there for smaller properties. I know it's on Longsight's doorstep but it still seems to be a somewhat desirable location.

It's neighbour, No. 18, was sold for around £180k in 2007. £155k for that state of the house in 2011 is still way overprice. £135k would be fair. I am surprised the mortgage got through.

Also, that area is seriously rough. You can check home insurance and car insurance of that post code. That one has a very high premium.
