MONEYPIT LANE, MEMBURY, AXMINSTER, DEVON

An Opportunity to acquire a large Detached Country House, Extended but not completed.

Did they rename the lane?

What a screwed up floorplan, are they walking away because they are sober now and can see how crap it is?

Less than 3 acres for £600k? I that think they are going to need more than a bit of luck to offload that turkey

Lol,

Seen properties like this before. A young family in need of bigger home talk parents into selling their house and moving in to big new house together. They then build seperate wing for parents but as house is a single dwelling the kids expect to keep all the house! Problem is they are rarely smart enough to make it work and as they were short of cash to start with this was always going to happen.

Would not take much money to sort out the appaling layout....but would take pots to sort out how it looks. It is also massive to heat in the winter.....and who wants an office in the basement accesed from the lounge!

Worth Max £375k, spend £100k sorting it out and have a £400k house (Hint: whatever you spend you won't get back in the next 10 years!)

N.
