German Courts To Rule On Bailouts

Who will stump up the cash if the Germans don't? How much independence does their constitutional court have?

As the fate of Europe is once again decided by unelected officials in Berlin, who really won WW2? :huh:

Of course by the time the court rules in the Autumn the entire thing could be academic.

This has been going on for some time . . . legal objections were raised to the first bailout. I guess they have a reasonable case since people have been very busy trying to delay this case coming to court. A report from last year:
