House Prices More Affordable In Ni?

Recommended Posts

Whilst the vagaries of the private housing market may impact on, and to a certain extent overlap with, the public NIHE estate in terms of perhaps demand, homelessnes, income from right to buy etc. I'm not so sure it is for Joe to cheerlead the private market. I'm not so sure either why he, on behalf of NIHE, is even involved in the UUJ report - what does he bring to it except perhaps the number of houses sold under right to buy, if even that.

Anyway, he certainly seems way out of touch on both affordability re salaries and indeed the wider economic context including emergency interest rates and the trajectory of house prices, esp in NI. I'm sure it's been a long time since Joe was on £21k.
