Tasteful Flat To Let

Recommended Posts

A flat for rent - comes with it's own bar and fruit machine! Ideal for students.

flat to rent £425 pcm

Tasteful wallpaper - very 1980s. Almost expect to see Arfur Daley propped by the bar with a G & T.

If it was in a decent sized house then it would be less rib-tickling. Just amused me that it was in a small flat. Even the Estate Agent seems confused as to whether it is a 1 or 2 bedroomed flat.

Given the location of the flat on one of the less salubrious housing estates in Norwich, it would be hard to rent out even without the bar.

I had a flat complete with bar in Italy!

The bar was immediately inside the front door. In a living-room the size of an entire 3-4-bed house in England, in a flat that was the smallest of four in what had originally - round about 1600 - been a coaching inn.

As for bar supplies, the bedroom (also huge) looked straight out across the vineyards.

So bad it's good!

Does the 'landlord' pop in regularly replenish the beer?!

For £425 a month in that area there should be beer included into the bargain. :D

£425 for that! £300 a month maybe, 325 if the interior was acceptable?

Agreed. :) If it was still a council flat it would be circa £240-£280 a month. There was another flat like this for about the same monthly rent.
