Wahoo Posted June 22, 2011 Share Posted June 22, 2011 I agree with that analysis. When Gaddafi said he would no longer supply oil to the West he signed his own warrant. It was the single biggest mistake he made.. he got cocky. To be fair, Hague was critical of Gaddafi quite early on in the protests.. before it was a done deal and a month before he announced he would no longer trade with us. How do we know that we are not supporting a bunch of nutters? This could bite us on the **** ...badly. And it's cost us 1 Billion so far....do we want to close the deficit or not? And it's cost us 1 Billion so far....do we want to close the deficit or not? We are and I think that it was realised quite quickly but the bed has been made and it is too late now.
