Times Front Page On Sipps

Recommended Posts

I spoke to a journo at The Times earlier in the week to encourage him to cover potential Sipps mis-selling, an issue he seemed unaware of when I spoke to him, and e-mailed him an article from some Scottish newspaper (think it was the Scotsman), so I was pleased to see the front page article today. Also been trying to get the Tories, and others, to focus on the issue.

However, I have a concern that the price inflating potential of Sipps is being hyped by the VIs, on the back of the mis-selling issue, to boost confidence in the seriously depressed property market. Am I just being paranoid?

You're not the only one that's worried. Of all the bull arguments, this one rattles me the most even though there are many arguments against it.

It will be interesting to see if the government hold their nerve and go ahead with it. Seems to be getting a lot of bad press.
