Ebaying....

Recommended Posts

I'm assumin that many of you aquire PM's off ebay?

I've had the odd maple off there but the bulk of my modest collection has come from bullion dealers.

After a few searches (and a few jars) I'm currently bidding and winning the following items (I'm satisfied that the items / sellers are genuine).

I know the denominations are relitavely low so premiums are a bit higher but would yoy pay the following...

Half kilo silver bar from a reputable manufacturer.

Full sov circa around 1900

100 gm silver bar (schone)

100 gm silver bar

Total = £800 and a few sqid postage.

I'll see what I've actually won come the morning and hope I don't regret it!

Talking of eBay, take a look at these Krugerrands...

£875.00

£800.00

£850.00

Apparently he has already sold one, feedback for it was left in record time, faster that it would have taken the London Buyer to drive up to the Bolton Seller.

PayPal dispute anyone?

Could be genuinely stupid I guess

I wouldnt pay more than spot or at most a small % over for gold.

Look at this http://www.24hgold.com/english/buy_sell_gold_coins.aspx?co_id=3 for gold coins.

Click on the silver coins tab at the top for silver. Prices for gold and silver bars are there too. Silver is going to carry at least 20% over spot unless you are buying sterling items.
