Crooks On The Internet

Recommended Posts

A few weeks back I wrote on my blog about how surveyors had over-priced houses as the bubble inflated. Anyways, one of the things you can do on your blog is look at stats about how many visitors you've had and how they got there. This includes showing you what search terms someone entered in Google to find the blog.

Today I have a cracker:

how to pay a surveyor to over value house

Nice, someone out there is looking for advice on tinternet on how to commit fraud. Not sure why, if it's to sell I expect the purchaser's survey will flag it up. Maybe it's a fiddle for someone who hasn't got enough deposit so they can make some of it an imaginary payment to the vendor...

Almost be worth setting up a honey pot website, perhaps with an opt in email list, in exchange for a free report on house over valuing, obtaining fake pay slips and so on.tongue.gif
