Govt austerity is going to wreak havoc in the private sector, too many companies have been leeching off taxpayer cash. Lots of in-depth articles about nothing. I had to ask myself could I really consider myself left wing or not when I find the left wing broadsheet vacuous. Still , wouldn't bother me either way if all the newspapers went under , alternative news via the internet is the future , mainstream media is scared shitless of it hence why they want to further control the internet and close down "terrorist" websites that do not spew the official line on everything. Although getting rid of the number 1 parasite is going to be a bit more difficult, ie the bankers. I remember being forced, despite my loud protests to advertise a couple of EHO jobs in the Guardian. It cost £10K and was a complete waste of money because any suitable candidates would be reading the professional journal (the jobs page online anyone can see) which we put an advert in for £1500.
