The Masked Tulip Posted June 16, 2011 Share Posted June 16, 2011 Friend of mine just put in two offers of 200K on much better looking cottages than that, IMPO, not far from there and both got accepted despite the asking price being 250K. That's a 20 percent discount on the ludicrous asking price. Go figure. There was one on in Village Lane for just over 200K asking - completely modernised by a Londoner who originally put it on for about 260K the year before last and quickly dropped it down to just over 200K - 210K I think - where it sat for most of last year. No idea if it is still on but it was beautifully modernised. This is not the one I mentioned above it is on for slightly more than the one you posted just up the lane.
