Product Size Deflation

I think we should ask the Office for National Statistics if they take product downsizing into account in calculating the inflation rate.

Even beer is being downsized. Bought 8 cans of Hobgoblin in Morrisons at the weekend only to find out they were 440ml cans when I got them home. That'll teach me to pay closer attention!

Saw this the other day in Sainsbury's myself.

I normally buy the 330ml bottled beer and have found less in this range and more moving over to the 300ml/284ml/275ml. Prices are sticky.
