Britain gave citizenship to the highest number of foreign nationals in Europe, new research has found.
A total of 203,600 foreign nationals were awarded British citizenship in 2009 - that is 50 per cent more than second-placed France and more than double the number in Germany.
The figures, from the EU statistics body Eurostat, followed predictions that Britain could become the most populated EU country by 2060 - with 79 million people.
UK passports were given to one in four of the 776,000 new citizens entering the EU in 2009.

I see a big storm a-rising.

It will be 78,999,999 because I'll be dead by 2060.

I see a big storm a-rising.

Storm in a WI-meeting teacup more like. To be fair that's 203,000 very qualified citizens Britain has imported. They are most likely all brain surgeons and atomic physicists. Fortunately they will all intergrate with the long-suffering British taxpayers. It will all work out because of tolerance and patience. Hopefully more languages will come with the immigrants so diversity officers can print out more leaflets.

Why the hell would you buy a place in East Sussex when you can live in North Carolina, Washington, Oregon, Colarado or California? If Tesco's are correct and the population really is 80million then that means Britain has a quarter of the USA's population!!! It doesn't have any of the reserves though. Britain is like an overbought stock. It's time to short!

I dislike mass immigration for the same reason the CBI and New Labour luvvies like it. It atomises society and drives down wages. On the left, socialist doctrine appears to have twisted into a mutant socialist-corporatism.

I have no problem with Muslims but was rather taken aback when a Muslim friend confided in me that there was a long-term plan to dominate Europe. Heaven knows why they want to bother!

Why are you complaining?

The only solution is to shag more and pop out more. I recall ages ago about something in India. Where one particular ethnic group said the womb was the most powerful weapon. The ethnic group under 'threat' responded in kind by telling their people to have more sprogs as well.

Same thing in Israel/Palestine. Whereby the womb is the most powerful weapon. So what are you waiting for get down and dirty with the missus. The second the child is born get her up the duff again rinse repeat etc.

I wonder what the figure will be like at the end of next year as un-employment starts to rise?

There is only one way to view this and that is from the employment point of view. It disgusts me that there is a certain element in society that is happy to see others standards of living decline. It will those minorities who will be the first to take action.

I can empathise with minorities who are slowly being impoverished, successive governments have eroded their position. I would suspect that one of the side-effects of the NHS reforms would have been to undermine doctors positions. All foreign medical staff will have seen through this and naturally be against this.
