* 200 job cuts at RBS to hit global banking unit
* Lloyds announces fresh round of 300 job losses
(Adds Lloyds job cuts, detail)
LONDON, June 9 (Reuters) - Lloyds (LLOY.L) and Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS.L), the two top British banks bailed out during the crisis, are cutting about 500 jobs between them in a fresh round of redundancies spreading across the industry.
RBS will axe about a fifth of its 1,000-strong global banking team, which houses the bank's corporate finance and advisory divisions within its investment bank, a source close to the matter said.

Upside for the Bankster Caporegimes is even more in the bonus pot this Crimbo!

Something tells me that the people who will be hardest hit by the job losses will be back office staff and not the traders and managers who landed the banks in the mess in the first place.
