Donny Dog, The Saucy Football Mascot Sacked Over Raunchy Photo Shoot That 'disgraced Club'

The mascot of Doncaster Rovers Football Club has been sacked after she 'disgraced the team' by posing in her lingerie in a newspaper photo-shoot.

Mother-of-three Tracy Chandler said she received an email from the Championship team telling her that her services were no longer required.

The hairdresser has said she is going to fight to get her job as Donny Dog back despite being pictured in provocative underwear.

........

The 40-year-old stressed that it was 'tastefully done' and all the proceeds were donated to the NSPCC.

If you where a woman would you want to be known as "Donny Dog", given the connotations that implies?

Also is doing an underwear shoot really the best way to raise money for a children's charity?

I'm sure this won't descend into a thread about if this person is actually a dog or not, HPC is far too high brow for that type of a discussion....

Hmmm....a case of double standards, given professional footballers' antics, one wonders....<_<

Picked up a footy magazine a little while back and it had a premier footballer stark bollock naked using a football to hide his todger. This was done to raise money for Cancer research.

I don`t see what she has done wrong. I can understand if she had her baps out but it`s harmless. If the club did not like that she used the mascot costume then give her a warning. (She is an unpaid mascot ffs)

Organisations like NSPCC exist with donations provided by people doing odd, weird, funny or different things.

Killjoys...

By all accounts she was posing for a charity calendar. The footballers at the club featured in a calendar last year naked except for a football covering their privates, so yes, double standards. The photo in question was fairly tasteful:

She's been doing the job of the mascot unpaid for 3 years, sounds she upset someone upstairs.

And for the record, I'd give her one!

Not even artistic.

Very reader's dogs.

Kinda shatters the illusion for the young uns though. There will be kids all over Doncaster no doubt traumatised by the fact that Donny's pulled his head off to reveal a scantily dressed woman living inside him.

Wonder what Charlie Williams would have made of it all?
