Majority Of People Retiring In Debt....

Recommended Posts

Some choice quotes to illustrate how stupid and gullible people are:

"across all age groups, 68% were in debt, rising to 80% among 25-to-34-year-olds. "

"48% said they planned to boost their income through releasing money from their property, while 28% were relying on the state pension and 26% were hoping for an inheritance. "

"research from retirement property group Economic Lifestyle found that up to 558,000 people aged 65 and over were still paying off their mortgage. "

"45% of the over-60s admitting they still have debts they are trying to clear - a source of concern for just 9% of them. "

and the best one....

"17% of the over-50s expecting house prices to go up by at least 50% between now and when they retire, while 9% expect them to quadruple. " :D:D:D
