If this takes off in the UK (or gets worse in Germany) a lot of blood plasma will be needed (about 50 units per patient) and it takes 3 weeks to produce. This is starting to look like a rerun of the 1996 Lanarckshire Ecoli 0157 outbreak where the initial source was thought to be milk but turned out to be John Barr Butchers.
