Newsnight Tonight - Essential Watching

Paxman used the phrase "property porn" introducing the feature later on in the show, he is going to be giving Kirsty Allsop a grilling about a generation obsessed with property and those priced out

Just sitting to the 'Climate Change' love in. Two pieces in a row. I realise why I watch so little BBC News now.

I love the way the 'green' movement has become the biggest advocate of coal power. They have successfully got the German government to cut nuclear power in favour of coal, their CO2 will go through the roof. Never doubt the lefts ability to achieve precisely the opposite of whatever they set out to do. Always.

This is going to be painful but the guy has just made at least a small effort to suggest a mortgage is money down the drain.

A house is not a pension though Krusty.

Could you imagine JD and Krusty in the same studio? :D

This is poor. Krusty foundering. Clueless. The other guy is lightweight in his point making. Bring on Killer Bunny!

Not yet heard house prices are too high.

You know what I find rather interesting about her on this ? She sounds more angry and flustered than I have ever seen her before. And this is one of the biggest Media VI's going.

She is scared. She knows what is going on. She cant hide it.

What a fecking waste of time.

Instead of having two people on who clearly did not have a clue what was going on they could have invited me on and I would have set them straight in half the time.

She has just come out with the most offensive statements I've ever heard her make about a "generation who aren't prepared to make the same sacrifices as their parents to become homeowners"

he could have said they recieved free stuff from the government, you only needed one wage earner ...he didnt put forward good arguments.and the critical point our economy can't keep up with most nations because rents are high.
