Gcse Paper

Recommended Posts

Spooky.

If that GSCE paper is real, no wonder kids are getting higher grades.

Yes.

Edit for link

My link

With minimal effort (i.e. clicking on your links), I can see that it looks like there's an examining body called WJEC, and there's a PDF file that looks like an exam paper bearing their logo that contains an curious image on page 10.

Join up the dots for me -- before contemplating how curious the image really is, where's the proof that the exam paper is genuine, untampered-with and produced by WJEC?

Google wjec, they are an exam body.

Don't get me wrong, I posted here, in the hope that someone will convince me this is a hoax.

WJEC being an examining body isn't really the question. A PDF of an exam paper bearing the WJEC logo isn't proof it's not a hoax. Even the most rudimentary bogus exam paper would contain some official logo.

If you are unable to prove that the exam paper is legitimate and completely untampered-with, assume it's a hoax -- as you came here hoping that was the case anyway.

Open the pdf again, check the address bar.

Open the pdf again, check the address bar.

Part of the URL is 'uploads'. I wonder if there's any way outsiders can upload material to WJEC's site that is then given a 'wjec.co.uk' URL?

Edited to add: is it possible to navigate to the exam paper from the home page of WJEC's site? If so, what are the clicks please?

Whoa. I normally instantly dismiss this sort of thing, but if genuine that is pretty thought-provoking! Armageddon??!!

A practical joke played by the exam designers to see what they could get through the system.

in fact - someone should email WJEC and point these things out. They are so blatant.... there's no way the designer of that graphic could have accidently spelled out armaggedon on the bricks for a start.

Would be interesting to see how they reply

Also,

WJEC have made a terrible attempt of covering up the candidates name on that paper.

Sounds like the most reasonable explanation. What other purpose would there be to put in such blatant symbolism?

I agree completely. Blatant.

Someone should email WJEC.

After you...

Let us know when you've done it, then, if we never hear from you again... :D
