Exceptional. I don't always agree with Pat Connell but this is very good.

Of course, as painful as it might be would be to bring this whole house of cards down and cauterize the infestation. That would take courage. The reset button needs to be pressed and the career politician and bureaucrat excommunicated.

Bill gets his history of the Irish currency a weeee bit wrong! The punt was not around for hundreds of years - there was the little difficulty of being linked to the predatory pound sterling, and before that of having to suffer debasements of the domestic currency at the direction of the English monarch.
